Meet Paola

I'm Paola — Swiss-Colombian, and proud of both. After 15 years working within the Olympic movement in Lausanne, I left the corporate world behind and moved to a little village above Orselina with my husband. After travelling the world, we chose this place for its peace, abundant sunshine, and stunning views over Lago Maggiore.

"I adopted a dog, swapped the corporate heels for hiking boots — and love every minute of it."

Since falling in love with the unspoilt nature and the serene energy of this mountain paradise, supporting the local community has become my purpose. That's why I founded Le Perseidi — named after the Perseid meteor showers that light up the summer skies above Monte Brè. The Perseids are also known as the "Tears of Saint Lawrence", and my grandfather's name was Lorenzo. A little piece of him lives in every star that crosses this sky. A name full of meaning, and a constant reminder of why this place, and this project, matter so deeply to me.

Fluent in four languages, I love welcoming guests and helping them enjoy unforgettable holidays in our sunny mountain paradise. When your home welcomes guests, we all benefit.
